ABOUT THE LOCATION
The Chicago EcoVillage is actively searching for the perfect spot to call home! An ideal plot of land would be at least 1-2 acres, and have potential for construction or a building renovation and farming.

The locations we are looking at are within 15 miles of Downtown Chicago. Please let us know if you have a creative solution to our location quest! As of now our administrative business is run out of the business office, located in Evanston, IL.

Have a penchant for sustainable living? Love emailing folks out of the blue about potential collaborations? Want to pick the cutest goat picture out for our visionary brochure? We'd love to have you on board! On the farm boat...(no actual boats are involved.)

We could use the following resources:
​
- investors
- grant writers
- realtors or people who know about land ownership
- research volunteers
- architects and/or design model researchers
- permaculture designers to help with design vision
- EcoVillage tour organizer (for inspiration and ideas)

you can dream up, let us know!

INTERNSHIPS
We can use help with this ambitious project in many ways.

If you are motivated to help move us forward with planning, research, resource gathering, and creative problem solving- then do get in touch!

Stipends are available for interns ready to commit to 2-3 months of part-time collaborative work. Commitment would be 3-10 hours per week, flexible schedule as needed.
